November 5, 2013, Boise, ID – Greg Green Films (www.greggreenfilms.com) today announced that Los Angeles based digital distribution company Indie Rights released the news that director Greg Green’s film “3 of a Kind” became its # 1 film in terms of sales for the month of October. Indie Rights distributes a catalog of over two hundred “indie” films to premium digital outlets such as Amazon, Google Play, M-Go and YouTube Rentals. “3 of a Kind” is currently available digitally on Google Play, YouTube Rentals and iTunes.
"We were thrilled to see ‘3 of a Kind’ climb so quickly to the top of our sales chart on Google Play,” Linda Nelson, CEO of Indie Rights began. ”We expect and look forward to seeing its audience grow. ‘3 of a Kind’ is a drama that deserves to have a broad audience because of the serious subject matter that is at the heart of this compelling crime story. It's already getting rave reviews from people who have watched the film on Google Play. Because of the great design of the Google Play platform and its recommendation algorithm, ‘3 of a Kind’ is sure to be seen by the huge audience it deserves."
"When Linda called to tell me the news that in our first two weeks of what we’re calling our ‘pre-launch’ on Google Play, we had jumped to the number one film in her company’s extensive catalog, I was shocked,” Green commented. “I don’t exactly understand how the design of the recommendation algorithm influences word of mouth, but I love it! I really do believe in this film, its ability to compel and entertain, and in the message of its underlying theme of overcoming domestic violence. It’s a great ‘watch’ and the response to this beginning of its digital platform launch on Google Play is exciting and bodes well for a bright future for ‘3 of a Kind’. We are thrilled that more and more people are hearing about and enjoying this film.”
Greg Green films will “officially” announce its presence on Google Play in the next few days and Indie Rights has indicated that “3 of a Kind” will be soon be released on M-Go, the “people-friendliest new digital entertainment service”.
