Award-winning Filmmakers, Catrine McGregor to Produce with Greg Green Directing

February 13, 2015, Boise, ID – Breaking News from West to East! Plane tickets are booked, hotels arranged and pre-production is in full force for the filming of a documentary in Idaho tentatively called “An Ayurvedic Journey.”

Drs. Ashutosh and Anagha Yardi and their hostess, Shaman Melodie McBride, will be met by a film crew upon their arrival and begin their travel across several states. We’ll see them marvel at America and her beauty, try to eat healthy at American restaurants and enlighten people about Ayurveda.

Ayur-what? Ayurveda - the science of life - is an ancient, 5,000 year-old discipline from India. It is a completely holistic approach to health - how your body is shaped, how your mind works, how you think, feel, and react in your society. Ayurveda encompasses everything that you do and how you interact with your environment, including your job, your family, and your social life.

CatMac Productions is teaming up with Shaman McBride to film THE two renowned Ayurvedic and Medical doctors from India who are journeying to the United States for the first time to teach Ayurveda. The director is the award-winning Greg Green, whose film “3 of a Kind” garnered multiple awards at the Houston International Film Festival. CatMac’s Catrine McGregor is producing, along with former Idaho film commissioner Peg Owens.

Shaman Melodie McBride: “In 2001, I was 252 pounds and was deathly ill. Now, after 14 years of living Ayurveda, I am maintaining my weight at 127 pounds, diseases are gone and I am a happy human being. That’s what Ayurveda did for me.”

Several crowd-funding campaigns are being conducted to fund the film. More information can be found at one of the following web sites:
