Idaho Filmmaker Greg Green To Panel on KIVI-TV News After Oscars Show


KIVI-TV Channel 6 in Boise To Feature Green on Post Oscar Show Before Jimmy Kimmel’s Special Edition Late Oscar Show


March 1, 2014, Boise, ID – Greg Green Films (www.greggreenfilms.com)will appear on the KIVI-TV Channel 6 Local Post Oscar News Special “After Party”. The ABC 6 “On Your Side” News Team will be broadcasting live from Backstage Bistro at The Village in Meridian, Idaho. Greg will be on a panel asked to provide expert commentary on the Oscars and on what’s happening in the Idaho Film Community. Green has two feature film directorial efforts slated for 2014, as well as a signed development deal to storyboard and script another screenplay tentatively set to shoot in 2015. Green’s 2012 feature film “3 of a Kind” was shot in Idaho and is now available on iTunes, Google Play and Amazon Video on Demand digital platforms. “3 of a Kind” won multiple awards for Best Picture, Best Director and Best Actress at the 2012 Houston International Film Festival.

What a thrill to get the call to appear on the local affiliate of the network that is broadcasting the 2014 Oscars,” Green remarked. “This is their first ‘event’ type Oscar broadcast and it’s an honor to be asked to be a part of it. It’s my understanding that I’ll be asked to provide insight into the current state of the filmmaking scene here in Idaho. On that front, I’m very optimistic about where it’s going. Greg Green Films’ ‘3 of a Kind’ was picked up on multiple digital platforms in 2013, with more set for this year. Beyond that, we have a development deal currently in the works and I’m hoping to direct one or two feature length films here in Idaho this year. There are other filmmakers here working on projects and a collaborative team of artists here in town, League 43, is doing Visual Effects on a John Travolta film right now. It’s a great time to be a filmmaker here in Idaho and I look forward to talking about it with the ‘On Your Side’ news team on Oscar Night.”
